Japan forgives $3.7 billion of Myanmar’s debt – thank you White Dragons!

Japan said Saturday it will forgive about 300 billion yen ($3.7 billion) of Myanmar’s debt and resume development aid as a way to support the country’s democratic and economic reforms.
日本在这个星期六宣布将会免除缅甸37亿美元的债务，并重启开发援助计划；进而支持缅甸的民主和经济改革。
The government made the announcement after a meeting between Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda and Myanmar President TheinSein following a summit with leaders from the five nations of the Mekong River region.
日本首相野田佳彦和缅甸总统吴登盛会晤结束，缅甸政府方面正式宣布了这项消息；随即登场的是湄公河五国领袖高峰会。
