生命法则
Beloved Students, you who so earnestly seek the Light, know there is but the One Presence that is your Invincible Protection, and that is the “Great I AM Presence,” God in you. Do not let your attention ever be held by these many outer manifestations: astrology, the power of numbers, spiritualism, or any of the many things that would take your attention away from the “Mighty I AM Presence” which is your Real Self.
亲爱的学生们，你们如此热忱地追寻圣光，你们知道存在着一个临在，也就是你的全能保护，你内在的神性，“伟大的我是临在”。不要让你的注意力被外在的表象所占据：占星术、数字的力量、通灵术，以及其他等等让你的注意力远离“强大的我是临在”的东西，你的“我是临在”才是真正的你。
If you turn to It at all times, It will lead you in the Pathway of Light, strewn with the rarest flowers whose very fragrance will enfold you with that strength and “peace that passeth understanding”; with that stillness of the outer which will enable you to enter into the Great Silence, wherein you will find the Greatest Invincible Activity of God, the “I AM Presence.”
如果你的注意力时时刻刻都放在我是临在上，它就会带领你走向圣光之路。这条道路上散布着最稀有的花朵，花儿的芬芳会赋予你力量，并带给你“超越头脑理解的平和”；外在的静谧会让你进入伟大的寂静之中，在那里，你会发现神之最伟大的活动，也就是“我是临在”。
Beloved Ones! surely you must understand that you cannot serve two masters and gain any victory ahead. Having free will, you must choose. If you choose the outer, forgetting your “Invincible I AM Presence,” then My Love goes with you, enfolding you in Its Mighty Mantle of Protection until such time as you choose to return to the One God.
挚爱的学生们，你必须明白，你不能服侍于两位主人并取得任何胜利。你拥有自由意志，必须做出选择。如果你选择外在，忘记了自己的“强大的我是临在”，那么我会用爱祝福你，用爱的强大保护力量包围着你，直至你做出选择，回归到合一的神之中心。

It seems to Me that it would be well to have a clearer understanding of the activity of Free Will. Children as a rule choose their parents, those to whom they shall be born in this earthly Life. Those who are to do Special Work are sometimes assisted by the Great Ones in making their choice. No one can be blamed for conditions, except the individual himself. No child can blame the parent for anything. No individual can blame anyone but himself for what seems to be lacking in this matter.
在我看来，要对自由意志的活动有一个更加清晰的了解。作为规则，由孩子来选择他们的父母，也就是他们要在地球上度过这一世生活的家庭。那些承担特殊任务的人有的时候会得到那些伟大存有的帮助，来做出选择。除了他自己之外，他不能因为外在状况去责怪任何人。孩子一点儿也不能去责怪父母。若是看上去有些什么缺失了，除了自己之外不能去责怪其他人。
Energy is always present in great abundance; but if not rightly used, things cannot be accomplished. Any affliction within the individual is his or her own creation. This must be recognized by Students so there will be no drifting away from their own responsibility.
总是存在着大量的能量；但是如果不能正确地使用，就无法完成事情。一个人内部的痛苦是他自己的创造。学生一定要意识到这一点，从而不会偏离自己要承担的责任。
Every individual is a God in embryo and can call forth Limitless Power to use for his advancement at any and all times. The cause of one’s seeming slowness of advancement, many times, is because the Student or individual is consciously or unconsciously looking for the manifestation rather than the joy of entering into the Great Heart of God’s Great Silence. If once the Students truly understand this, it opens a new gateway to their growth and causes them to look entirely within themselves for everything. The inclination of the human or outer activity to continually be looking for something outside upon which to blame their own shortcomings, is the great stumbling block to the rapid progress of many.
每一个人都是处于萌芽中的神，可以随时地召唤无限的力量用于自己的进步。很多时候，一个人看似进步缓慢的原因，是因为学生或者这个个体在有意识或无意识地把注意力放在了寻找外在显化上，而不是放在进入神的伟大寂静之中那颗伟大之心的喜悦上。如果学生真正地理解了这一点，就会为他的成长敞开新的大门，他们就会全心全意地从内在寻找一切。人类或外在活动总是倾向于不断地向外在寻找一些东西，从而可以把原因归咎于自己的缺点，这对很多人类说是快速进步的巨大绊脚石。
I am clearly aware of the great controversy which existed at one time over the idea of Free Will, but that does not alter the Truth in any way. I tell you, everyone has Free Will and is commanded to choose whether they shall serve the Upward or downward course; and no one can say them nay in their own choice. Those who choose the Upward Path have the Mighty Presence, Intelligence, and Power of the Ascended Host and the Great Devas to assist them in every manner that is permissible.
我清晰地了解当前围绕着自由意志这个概念的巨大争议，但是这并不会以任何方式改变真理。我来告诉你，每个人都有自由意志，都可以下命令去选择，他们是选择向上服务的路径，还是向下服务；没有人可以在自己的选择中说不。那些选择提升线路的人，扬升之主和天使的伟大临在、智能和力量会以所有被允许的方式为他们提供帮助。
Again, it is well to remind the earnest Student to keep looking to and asking the Mighty “Presence” to show him clearly the Way and to answer his questions- because if the Student will sincerely ask that Mighty Inner “Presence” to do it, those questions will be answered; and after a few experiences, he will find the answers coming quickly and surely .. Such effort will give the added impetus and stimulus to make this an easy and continuous activity.
再次，提醒最真诚的学生持续地把注意力放在“临在”上，并呼请“临在”清晰地展示给他看前进的道路，并回答他的问题。因为当学生诚恳地要求伟大的内在“临在”去这么做时，这些问题就会得到解答；有过这样几次体验之后，他会发现答案必然会快速出现…这样的结果会给予额外的动力和鼓励，从而让这种活动变得更容易和持久。
The sincere Student should call on the Law of Forgiveness every day, and give praise and thanks for having come to the point of consciously knowing the Mighty God within.
虔诚的学生应该每天都去呼请原谅法则，并对自己已经可以有意识地认识内在伟大神之自我的状态进行赞美与感谢。
Ascended Master Instruction, DISCOURSE XIV
No adverse conditions:
不存在不利的状况：
Be it now and forever understood that to the Student or individual who has become aware of his Mighty “God Presence” within and enfolding him, there is no such thing as an adverse condition, no matter what the appearance seems to be. No matter what the appearance of anything seems to be, with the attention fixed upon this recognition, it is impossible for anything but good to come out of every condition. You can see at once how impossible it would be for God to make a condition that would affect Himself adversely. No Student can attain and maintain his or her freedom from limitation without recognizing and applying this simple yet Mighty Truth.
不论是现在还是永远，都要明白，对于已经意识到自己内在永远包围着他的伟大“神之自我”的学生或者个人来说，不论表面看上去状况如何，都没有不利的状况这回事儿。不论任何事情表面上看起来如何，当把注意力牢牢地放在对临在的认知上时，除了美好之外，其他都不可能从状况中产生。你会马上明白，对于神来说，不可能去创造一种对自己有不利影响的状况。如果不去认可和应用这一简单而伟大的真理，任何学生都无法获得并保持他的自由、并免于限制。
It is so childish and foolish for one, in the recognition of this Mighty “Presence,” to continue to give power and authority to outer things. After Students have entered the Conscious Path, they should understand that they must keep the conscious guard for their protection, their defense, their deliverance and know positively that God in them is the one and only Directing Intelligence.
如果一个人在承认这位伟大“临在”的情况下，又继续赋予外在事物以力量和权威，那么这个人就是幼稚和愚蠢的。当学生进入这条求道之路后，他们应该明白，他们必须有意识地保持警觉，用来保护、防御和拯救，并清楚地知道，他们内在的神之自我是他们唯一的指导智能。

Saint Germain’s Promise of Help:

I tell you that everyone receiving these Instructions who will take their determined stand to govern their thought, feeling, and action, will be given boundless Help and Assistance. Of course, you will understand that thought, feeling, and action are but three expressions of the one force. Instead of allowing yourself to lament over your seeming inability to master the outer, use that energy to conquer the condition by giving it the quality you need for the solution of your problem. Say: “By the Power of God in me, I can acquire full mastery and do it now; and I positively refuse to give power to outside conditions, persons, places, things, or activities. I have learned to know that there is only God in my Life, my mind, my body, my home, my world, and my affairs.”
我告诉你，每一个接收这些指示的人，只要他们坚定不移地去管理他们的想法、情感和行动，就会得到无限的帮助和协助。当然，你会明白想法、情感和行动只是一种力量的三种不同表达。与其让自己哀叹自己看上去似乎无法掌控外在状况，不如使用这种能量赋予解决问题所需要的品质来克服这种状况。去说：“通过我内在的神之力量，我可以获得全部的掌控，我现在就去做；我拒绝将力量赋予外部的条件、人、地方、事物或者活动。我已经知道，在我的生命、我的心智、我的身体、我的家、我的世界和我的事务中，只有神的能量在运作。”
In your schoolwork as a child- and most people have had their difficulty with mathematics-when adding up a column of figures, if you did not give your full attention to it, your answer would undoubtedly be incorrect. If your answer was wrong about three times in succession, your attention would be called to the fact in unmistakable terms.
当你还是孩子，做学校的作业时，很多人在数学方面都遇到困难，当你在计算一列数字的总和时，如果你没有全神贯注，你的答案无疑是错误的。如果你的答案连续错了三次，你的注意力就会被吸引到这个犯错误的事实上。
So it is necessary for you to take this same determined stand, no matter what the appearances seem to be. If necessary, silently shout to yourself within: “I stand firm! There is only God in Action in everything with which I am concerned.” I am grateful indeed that some are understanding the great necessity for self-correction and are determined to succeed. All who do this will find themselves steadily forging ahead and, time after time, have proof of this Mighty Active “Presence.” This will shortly give them all the faith and courage in the world to place their feet on the neck of the outer self and hold it always subject and obedient to this Mighty Inner God Self.
因此，你有必要采取同样坚定的立场，不论表面上看起来如何，有必要的话，在内心默默地对自己说：“我非常坚定！在我关心的所有一切事情中，只有神在运作。”我真的很感激，有些人正在理解自我纠正的巨大必要性，并下定决心取得成功。所有这样做的人都会发现自己正在稳定前进，并且一次又一次地证明了这种伟大活跃的“临在”。这会很快给予他们世界上所有的信念和勇气，他们会把双脚放在外在自我的脖子上，并让它永远服从和顺从这个伟大的内在神之自我。
Oh, Beloved Students, why waver and wobble around any longer? Brace up! Tighten your beltl Face and conquer this outer self now, and go forth in that blazing Light that will draw around you to the point where you will not have to be concerned about the outer activity, by the Law of your Inner Being. It draws to you all Harmonious Action, Love, Light, and Wisdom, which you will joyously send forth like a Mighty River of Light, pouring Its Presence and Radiance over those blessed ones who have not yet gained the Fullness of the Victory.
噢，亲爱的学生们，为什么还要摇摆不定呢？去下定决心，打起精神来，面对和征服这个外在的自我，并在吸引到你周围的闪耀圣光中前行，根据你内在自我的法则运作，直至你不必担心外在的活动。它会把所有和谐的行动、爱、圣光、智慧吸引到你身边，你会像一条强大的圣光河流快乐地散发出这些能量，并把它的临在和闪耀光辉倾洒在那些尚未获得圆满胜利的受到祝福的人身上。
